I heard something along the lines that the she was sleeping with the husband of the lady that formulated TV One (can't remember her name). Anyhoo, she found out about the affair several years before firing Olivia. Rather than go off on Olivia, beat her up, terminate her that day, etc... she acted as if she never knew and made Olivia think that they were cool. By this point Olivia felt she had job security (she's having an affair, the ratings are going up, the show is growing). At the peak of career, that is when the TV One lady pulled the plug.
