what is the easiest way to create a secure webpage?

I am interested in setting up a web page for my family. Is there an easy and free way to do it? Also, is there a way to create it and only give designated people access?

There is definitely many ways but not as easy or free as you'd like.

Alternatively, you may want to try setting up a Yahoo! Group where you can control the access.

The easiest way I can think of is using netobjects fusion. Or if you know some coding or If you can get help from you service provider, you can install some free CMS (content management systems).
