ah umm uhh i dont think that has a statistic because that would mean going to at least like over 3 million people to put a box in their home to find that out and then there is what kind of sport would you tally and what time of year would affect it and the fact that alot of people might not want to precipitate in that process because they mightthink that it is imbarrissing because they wold be on the list of like 3 million people. sorry i am rambling on and on but i do not think that there is a statistic on that type of question or you could post a question asking people to tell you if you watch a sport but you need to put all of the recently brought up factors would be. i really hope this helps

I don't think there is such a statistic, but lets just say that at least half of the U.S. population watches some kind of sport. That would make it about 150 million. Everybody I know watches some sort of sporting event. I watch baseball, basketball and football regularly. Sometimes I have watched soccer, golf, volleyball, tennis and other "minor" sports.
