Nice Back to the Future 2 reference.
Any team has the potential to win a World Series; it's just a matter of making the plays when they need to be made in crucial games. The Cubs very well may win next year or the year after; all they have to do is play well.

It's hard to say but with all the changes in the front office and coaching staff it looks like we porabably won't get a world series in wrigleyville before 2008. 2007 is going to be a rebuilding year and hard for this team to even think playoffs. There are still several holes to fill in the pitching staff and the field. Hopefully the Cubs organization will follow Detroit's example and build from a bad season (113 loses in 2003) to a world series caliber team.

Even Cardinals fans feel sorry for the Cubs sometimes.....except when some of their annoying fans get in your face.
I think the Cubs will have a World Series, maybe soon. And I hope so in a way, cos maybe then they'll shut up.

2051 when they do sweep the Miami Gators...just think! Pablo Ramirez will strike out Ricardo Ramirez to end the game! Manager Julio Ramirez will be so thrilled, he will hug his bench coach Francisco Ramirez, the man responsible for signing their star pitcher Esteban Ramirez!

i dont think so, they have to realize that players like wood and prior just arent worth the time or money any more, they wont invest when or where they need to, they have holes in there lineup, both pitching and fielders, and have the same problems at the end of the year, why dont they do anything about this, they will never win 100 unlesss they make some mid season trades and spend their money on healthy/proven players
