here is a list of choices -- like the ten commandments--
1. be with people, socialize
2, go to movies
3. walk in nature...sea side or mountain..during day time.
4. help people volunteer your service at hospitals or community centers.
5. visit friends...visit families...close relatives
6. find a hobby, photography, painting, musical instruments...if none works. get ipod...
...i rest my case...that will keep u busy for some time..and have fun...enjoy

I'm thinking more activities to suggest for the long run, like your cheerleading. (Plus, it looks great on resumes when you apply for your first pay job, and college!)

Are there any local organizations you are interested in? An animal shelter, women's shelter, a local church you can help out? See if you can volunteer a couple days a week after school. It's a great way to build character. It can be very fullfilling.

In that realm, there are tons of non profits in towns. All for different causes, but check your newspaper. See who's doing toy drives, coat drives. See if those kind of organizations interest you to help out the community. These types of groups can put you into a leadership positions.

Some towns have groups meant for teenagers to host activities for the town's teenagers.

Do you like to sing? Does your school have a choir? Or perhaps your town does.

Are you interested in art? I'm sure your school might have an art club. Take some art classes, see if it inspires you.

Do you like to write? Become a contributor to your local newspaper. Write for your school's paper.

Make a list of things you like. Then, take those things and try to pair them up with organizations at your school or in town. Not only will you find more things to do for fun, but you'll meet new people. Through those people, you'll be able to have more places to go, and more fun to have.

Good luck!
