frustrated- Andrea's feeling when she can never satisfy the demands of her boss Miranda Priestly.
humiliated- how andrea feels when she is looked down upon by other employees at Runway & by her boss because of the way she dresses.
arrogant- the attitude that Miranda Priestly has throughout the novel.
satisfied- After Andrea tells of Miranda Priestly in Paris, during Paris Fashion Week in front of lots of people and returns home immediately to be there for her friend Lily who is in hospital. Satisfied also comes in when Andrea thinks that because of her publicised abusing of Miranda Priestly, she will never get a job in publishing, but she does manage to at Seventeen magazine by a woman who can't stand Miranda.
Best way to describe Andrea is: ambitious, naiive, stubborn, disillusioned and confused. When you read the novel in more detail in the opening chapters, she comes off to be quite timid, unsuspecting, insecure, overly ambitious, lazy, and comfortable. There is something very real and homely about Andrea's character.
