You can't. One is a measure of mass, the other of length.

If you know the density of the substance, you can find out the miligrams mass in a cubic millimeter:

mass (mg) = density(kg/m^3)(1000g/kg)(1000mg/g)*volume(mm^3) *(1m/1000mm)^3

= density(kg/m^3)*volume(mm^3) /1000

You can't really convert a unit of mass to a unit of length, however maybe the following info will help-

1 cubic centimeter holds a volume of 1 millimeter and masses 1 milligram.

hope this is useful

Milligram to millimeter?

Please clarify.
I assume the Quantity you are measuring is pressue.

Then proper units would be (say) mm Hg to 'mg force per unit area'
Is that it?

It is like saying convert pounds to feet! It is impossible. One is a unit of mass the other is a unit of length.

mg = weight
mm = length
I do not think it is possible to answer this question with the provided data.

To convert mg/ml to mM divide the concentration in mg/ml by the molecular weight of the sample and multiply by 1,000.

For example, a 10 mg/ml solution of lysozyme is 0.68 mM

Approximate molecular weight is 14,700 g/mole)

10 mg/ml x 1 g/1,000 mg x 1 mole/14,700 gram x 1,000 ml/1 L x 1,000 millimole/1 mole = 0.68 millimolw/ml = 0.68 mM

European measurment, are you reading frome a syringre or something with measurements for milligrams on it. Maybe they want you to convert the measurment into milimiters by mesuring it up?

You can't convert units of weight to units of length. Fix your typo.

i think it can't be converted because their unit is different. gram differs from meter.
