Michael J Fox can make a tv ad. Can say anything he wants. But NO ONE can dare challenge him on the facts?
He can critize anyone he wants and go unchallenged? Everyone is supposed to say "ok"?
Liberals want free speech for them, but if you disagree with them, you want people to have diseases....Another typical liberal double standard?

Not to mention...
The man is an actor. His last role was he shaking that bad?
As an actor he knows you do re-take after re-take until you get the look you want...

'Tis the liberal way. Freedom of speech only applies to them. Fox has had his disease long enough to know his medication. He knows how much he needs to take to manage his symptoms. He also knows how much not to take to make his symptoms appear worse.

CHallenge him on the facts! Go ahead. He wasn't "used" to give the pundits someone they dare not attack. He's there on his on terms to promote research that he feels would help disease. He knew this would make him a pariah. In fact, if someone had spoken up for stem cells who DIDN"T have a personal interest, you'd laugh at them even worse. Picture Sally STruthers speaking out for world HUNGER. That's textbook hypocrisy.
The potential benefit is very real. If an undifferentiated stem-cell could be turned into a neuron...
Michael J. Fox is using personal tragedy to promote a cause. Good for him. Maybe a note of compassion would stop people from ripping on him and talk about the actual issues, instead of the ridiculous personal attacks.
No matter what the religious right says...STEM CELL RESEARCH WILL HAPPEN.
It's scientific which history shows has NOTHING WHATSOEVER to do with morality. There's a ton of money to be made so it hardly needs a government grant.
Sorry if the Facts are disagreeable. But for once, religious folks should use that to focus on the issue instead of someone's assaultability.
Michael J. Fox is a man supporting a cause you disagree with. People can go ahead and attack him, thanks to Ann Coulter and her horrible remarks against the 9-11 widows. All bets are off. Gee, isnt' the world a better place ?

Michael J. Fox can't even vote in Missouri himself, so you can challenge him on that. You can also ask him why most people would care enough about stem cell research to vote for someone because of their position on it, with so many more important issues at stake. You can also challenge him about how he feels about being used by McCaskill (the candidate) for sympathy votes, because that's what trial attorneys (what she is) do.

You can always challenge waht someone says. Perhaps Mr. Fox didn;t take his medicine to make a valid point about Parkinson's disease.
Without medicaion, this is what will happen and even with medication, it can only slow the progress of the disease, but not stop it or revert it.
There is a way to protest the action without coming across as heartless or insulting.

Why don't the liberals come clean and admit the reason there is furor about Mr. Fox and this issue is that he is promoting is for research involving CLONING?? What does this have to do with Parkinson's Disease? We are sorry he has this affliction, but that does not excuse him for misleading voters to promote a candidate.

Well he did do an ad for a Republican so he will do anything to promote his believe of embryonic research. Think it's a waste of time myself since great strides are being made with adult stem cells but to each their own.
And of course people have the right to say what they want about him. If he didn't do the add then he would receive the criticism but since he did he made himself a target.

anyone can challenge anything...
but it doesn't mean some people won't think you're an *ss for doing it... most conservatives think that what Limbaugh said about Fox was going too far... you're free to say it, but people are free to think you're a jerk for saying it too... that's the way it works...
kids, people with life-threatening illnesses, dead people and old people pretty much get a free pass from most people... on both sides...
me personally, I think it's also offensive to say that 9-11 was a government conspiracy and people crack on those people all the time too... it's just basic human decency in both circumstances if you ask me

Liberal spin. They got called on their deception and so their response was to point fingers at the exposers.
Typical.
