When was Abrecrombie created?

I had recently bought an Aeropostale shirt with the numbers "87" on it, stating that Aeropostale was founded in 1987. When exactly was Abrecrombie created, so that I can remember if my "87" shirt is Aeropostale and not Abrecrombie. (Since I tend to mix them up because I have many shirts from each Corporation)

Abrecrombie was created long ago my jeans on the tag say 1892. But it has changed a lot over the years..as you can tell!!!

Abercrombie clothing have 1892 on them.

1892. all their clothes have 92 on them. prob not 1992
