1599. I prepared by simply doing the work that was assigned to me in school. I took the test many, many years ago.

Preparation for the test is going to provide you with a false score which will serve no purpose whatsoever.

You want to know where you stand in order to choose your college or university properly. A person with a 1050 SAT score would probably not do well at MIT, assuming they cound even get accepted.

I got a 1450 combined score on the SAT and did not study at all.

I got a 1300 and a 6 on my essay. I didnt really prepare for it because you really dont know what you should study.

1380 (this being before they instituted the writing test.) I took it more or less cold, I remember glancing at the instruction book a bit the night before. If you're taking it good luck!
