Everyone's forgetting to tell you about the reddness. You'll be bright red wherever they wax. You might also get some bumps that last for about a day. I have sensitive skin and always do. Those hundred little bumps (from each folicle a hair is pulled) look even more noticable when I try to cover it with make-up. Plan to have it done on a weekend when you can spend the day at home. Just in case.

I in basic terms had my first expert wax a coupld weeks in the past, and that replaced into possibly between the main painful reports OF MY existence, and that i did no longer even get my bikini line performed. My suggestion is DIY, it is low value and you already know while and the place it is coming! in basic terms visit the chemist and you get 20 strips for, like, 10 dollars.

Take some ibuprofren a couple hours before your appt. and also ask your waxing professional to use a topical numbing agent before he/she starts the procedure. Don't intend on going out on a 'big night' within hours of your appt. b/c the area waxed will be quite red and puffy up to 3-6 hours after the appt.-depending upon your skin sensitivity.

I get my eye brows done about every 4 weeks. Make sure that you take a picture of how you want you brows to look! AND make sure that your salon will do it exactly the way you want. Yes, It hurts, about like taking a bandaide off.

The first time is the worst. But, it takes absolutely no time at all to do. Not that much pain! Go for it, I do it for a living, and people love the results, clean lines, and more defined face!

it will sting for a few seconds and then you will be fine
try rubbing a bit of teething gel on the parts you want waxed
also try taking a pain killer half an hour before you go
