I need help because everytime I boot my computer a command prompt will pop up on my desktop with a command line C:/DocumentandSettings/vangaven/Shutdown -t 00 -F something similiar to that. I just need help on how to eliminate the command prompt period. Any help with be greatly appreciated!

Spyware/virus Run computer in safemode
Run...msconfig...turn off the file that auto runs
or
Run...regedit...hkeylocal....software...microsoft....windows...currentversion....run...delete the file that opens automaticly

If you can get into safe mode you can run you antivirus from there and it may remove the malware. I wuld suggest you run a HJT log and post it so that a trained expert can assist you in removing it completely from your system.
