this is amazing
i wuz just talkin bout it 2 days ago
it's cuz your body is like a positive
and other people's bodies r like negatives
so when ur positive hand touches your positive body, they cancel eachother out cuz they're the same thing
when someone elses body touches u, they're like a negative and they react with your positive body and make your nerves react
.. i ain't no scientist, but i usually guess on stuff and my teachers always say im right
or close enough....
anyway, this is pretty much how it all works
lol
but don't take my word for it

This is actually a very complex question. Probably more complex than you imagined.

First note that the giggling response happens only when you are tickled at soft and vulnerable places on your body. Your stomach, armpits, genitals, or bottom of your feet. Touching these parts is threatening, and your body naturally tenses up. Giggling is an instinctive response to relax your body when the tickler is known to be not a threat. This is the same reason why we instinctively smile when we see a friend. It relaxes us and the other party, and hostile interaction is avoided.

Not exactly sure but I am able to turn off my "tickleability" whenever I want. If someone is tickling me, I can accept it and be ticklish and giggle or I can tell myself not to be ticklish and merely sit there without a reaction, I can even change mid tickle!. It's quite fun.

It just prooves that people in this world need reaction from each other to giggle and be happy.
if you were able to make yourself happy without anybody else, you wouldnt need friends to make you giggle!
