It's a fictional horror movie. Halloween: Resurrection was the 8th movie in the series. All but one focuses on Michael Myers (aka The Shape)...the 3rd movie is the only one that doesn't have him in it. Contrary to whatever rumors may go around, none of the movies are based on any true story.

The character of Michael Myers is fictional, not real. Some movies will say they are based on true events, only to find out that the true event they are based on has nothing to do with the movie at all (ie. The Amityville Horror and sequels, which were based on a "real" haunted house, but the events were fictional). There were a total of seven movies in the Halloween series to date.

Halloween (also known as John Carpenter's Halloween) is a 1978 independent horror film set in the fictional Midwest town of Haddonfield, Illinois, on Halloween. The original draft of the screenplay was titled The Babysitter Murders. The film was directed by John Carpenter and stars Donald Pleasence as Dr. Sam Loomis, Jamie Lee Curtis as Laurie Strode, and Nick Castle as Michael Myers (listed in the credits as "The Shape"). The film centers on Michael Myers' escape from a psychiatric hospital, his murdering of teenagers, and Sam Loomis's attempts to track and stop Myers. Not real, only a movie.

Fictional character. Fictional movie. No basis in reality.
Not that the world has any shortage of scary psycho freaks. Try Googling Ted Bundy if you want to read about someone truly frightening.
Or, even scarier, folks like Joseph Stalin who committed mass genocide.

Mmm certain I see your aspect and also you do have an exceedingly strong one. yet we do not extremely understand what percentage black people compared to white each and every man or woman is in reformatory, and what percentage psycho serial killers are white compared to black. All all of us understand and word is what's portrayed through the media. The media are evil in themselves and prefer to create stereotypes of people. till we extremely convey jointly precise records of ways many races kill, and this confirm might want to substitute regularly, we do no longer understand. So i imagine that's unfair to assert better black each and every man or woman is in reformatory yet better white each and every man or woman is serial killers with psychological circumstances. And it has no longer some thing to do with race - people kill in line with their existence memories, psychological skill and circumstances - no longer the coloration of their pores and skin. (no longer suggesting you're racist at throughout the way)
