Faint positive???

Ok guys...
My hubbie and I have been trying to concive for about the last 3 months now. We have read alot on when and what to do to have higher chances of getting pregnant. since we have started my cycles have changes alot sometimes its a few days early sometimes its a few days late. My usual cycle every month was about 4 to 5 days (the normal) but now its only for a day or two on and off. One day really heavy the next almost nothing. According to my chart i was suppose to start my period yesterday and I didnt. Girls usually know and or feel when its comming, but i dont feel it. i took a First Response test this morning before work and i just saw one line, i finished getting ready and about a min later i was about to tose it away but i took another look and it had a second VERY faint line.. What are my chances of it being positive? Can it be to early to test? Or is it just my imagination playing with me...with the illusion of wanting a baby....

how long should i wait and test again to be sure i am or that im not

i was pretty much done getting ready i just went to put on my sweater. so that could not have been more then a min.. so the test had a faint second line about a min or 2 after i took it

ok if the line is faint but it is there you are pregnant, here is the deal, at this time of the pregnancy you don't have much hcg to make a dark line, so what you should do it test in 2 more days first thing in the morning because the hcg duplicates every other day so the line should get darker very other day. The same thing happened to me, I took a test and it seemed to be negative so i just left it in the sink and about an hour later i came back and looked at it again and i saw a very faint line, and sure thing I am 25w pregnant right now so Good luck and congrats!

It depends on how long it took you to get ready. Most brands of hpt warn you not to look at the test after ten minutes because it could show a faint positive like that. Try testing again in a few days to make sure.

That sounds like my story! I took a test early one Saturday and waited for the two minutes. No second line and I went back to bed.

Later that morning, I saw the super faint second line!! Of course I kept taking them, I bought generic ones, I bought expensive brand name ones. Every time I got a faint line and eventually (maybe three or four days later) the second line got really dark. :)
