Have you tried using a Playtex Latex Nipple? They are a golden color and are softer then the other ones. The only way I can think of to make the nipple softer is to boil it.

The warmer it is the softer it will be. If the baby gets hungry enough it'll eventually eat. Try using a sippy cup. There are usually ones with soft plastic spouts (not Avent ones there is not way for the baby to latch on). I know plenty of babies that simply would not use a bottle, but they'd drink out of a cup. Worst comes to worst you could squirt some formula or breatmilk into her mouth from the bottle, then she may put it together that the bottle equals food. Also sometimes the baby won't take a bottle if she knows that the breast is right there. If she's used to nursing you may need to leave the room or the house for a while so she'll take the bottle. Best of luck!
