I think you meant VOIP ... Voice over IP (Internet Protocol)

It's the routing of voice conversations over the Internet or through any other IP-based network.

If you mean VOIP, it is Voice Over Internet Phone, but VIOP, I don't know.

a VOIP company is a telephone company that sends your calls through the internet rather than by traditional phone lines. people claim that it is better sound quailty but others argue that if your internet goes down, your phone calls do also. some of the name brands of VOIP companies include Vonage and Sun Rocket.
