Well, I started to get ready from the moment my husband and I decided it was time for a baby, after 7 years of marriage. I started to take my prenatal vitamins, I made a pre-conception appointment with the doctor for some routine tests to make sure I was healthy, they did kidney tests, thyroid tests, took my blood pressure and made sure it was fine, all kinds of urine and blood tests. I started to drink more water, 80 oz a day and added more veggies to my diet. When i became pregnant a month after planning all of this, I made my doctor's appointments and followed all their directions, bought me the book What to Expect When you are Expecting and started to read. I also went on the internet and found this amazing website www.babycenter.com and signed up, you get a day by day pregnancy calendar and it is awesome, I just basicly started to take care of myself and the baby and educated myself about pregnancy. I am 25weeks pregnant right now and I have finished reading a book called How to make your kid smarter by kindergarten increasing your babie's IQ up to 30 points. I am still going month by month with the other book and I recently bought the book What to Expect the First Year. I am trying to do all the reading right now because once the baby gets here I don't think I will have time for that. At 12 weeks of pregnancy I started to buy all the things the baby will need and as of now I have everything! I have decorated a very nice room for our baby boy. In a couple of weeks I will sign up for some essencial classes I will need such as labor and delivery class, taking care of the baby for the first months and breastfeeding, I have commited myself to breastfeed my baby for the first 12 months. So here are just some ideas for you to be prepared. Remember the more educacted you are the smarter your baby will be and the less mistakes you will make. Good luck!!

I would say as long as you eat fairly healthily, take a small amount of excersise and don't smoke and keep alcohol to a minimum or best not to drink at all from the time you start to try and conceive then you should be fine. Vitimins may help but the only thing I would say to definitely take is folic acid.
I think the main thing is not to get absolutely obssesive about what you're doing because that can lead to stress and that's no good either. Just try and take it easy and be as casual as possible. Remember everybody's different and what is easy for some without much effort is almost impossible for others who are putting everything into getting pregnant so another tip is don't start comparing yourself to those around you. I know it's easy to say, but trying to be calm and stress free is just as important as anything else you try. Good luck

You should prepare yourself as soon as possible!
Eat healthily, exercise, stop drinking alcohol, stop smoking (if you do) etc....... and your partner too!
Then go to your doctor to see if there's anything else you should be doing to help (vitamins etc...).
There's no average time it takes to fall pregnant, it depends on so many factors, everyones different.
I don't have any children but have also thought about this, I want to make sure I am "fit and healthy" mentally and physically before I even start trying to get pregnant. I have also heard plenty of "advice" over the years!
Good luck x

Unfortunatly, they didnt have the scientific technologies to appreciate why women bled like that when being pregnant or month-to-month for menstration. They theory women have been possessed in the time of cases of bleeding. I recommend, think of roughly it. in case you didnt be attentive to what menstration replace into, or why it replace into, wouldnt you come across it evil? I maximum rather do not condone that way of theory, yet you may desire to step into their footwear to appreciate. Its unhappy, yet thats why. And confident, it does p*ss me off. Christianity has taken some thing that replace right into a consequence of not awareness the scientific subject concerns at the back of actual applications and grew to become it into bigotry even at the instant, as quickly as all of us be attentive to the actual clarification why they theory that. I dont be attentive to anybody that rather makes women struggle via that cleansing, yet i be attentive to many Christians who nevertheless think of adult adult males might desire to be the top of the family members by way of fact of those and the different scriptures that placed women in non management roles by way of fact of actual desire on the time (women have been on mattress relax in the time of their entire being pregnant, and spent maximum of their lives having infants).
