Farsightedness = can see things far away clearly, but cannot read.

Nearsightedness = can read, but things far away are blurry.

If you are farsighted it means you can see things far away but have problems seeing things close up. Nearsighted means you can see things close up but have trouble seeing things that are far away.

being far sighted: you can see at a far distance(not 500 miles away from where you are!) as for being near sighted: you can see closely . meaning you look at things closely but not verry far like from one end of a room to another.:) hope this was some help

farsightedness is wen u can see objects clearly from the distance

nearsightedness is seeing obects that r farther a way u cant see unless u r near the object

when you are nearside you can't see things far away and when you are farsighted you can't see things up close

i get the 2 mixed up, but i think far sighted is when you can see things far but up close things are fuzzy and near sight is when you can see things clearly up close but far away its not as clear

they are actually opposite of eachother, farsightedness is for ppl that can see far but not close up and vice versa for nearsightedness
