I just watched an episode of Mad Money with Jim Kramer for the first time ever. Is that guy really THAT insane or is he acting?

To be fair, he has given some good advice on stock investing,
you are right, he is always yelling, which is part of acting to get viewers.

I never saw the show and don't know the actor but I do know that if you get paid enough you'll do anything and the crazier you act the more you get into it especially if you have an audience

I just heard somethng about him a couple weeks back. Have seen a few minutes of his show once also. What I heard was his background but i don't recall offhand specifically what it was. It was not anythng to do with investing tho.

More TV dramatization. If you need a gimmick, it probably isn't for real.

Why would anyone want to be yelled at? Didn't you get enough of that as a child from your parents and in church?

Cramer is a sharp guy but his TV ego is starting to get to him. He was a big name on wall street when he was involved with hedge funds. I give him a listen but rarely follow his advice (except diversification).
