Penn Argyle is a borough in Washington Township.

A borough is an unincorporated stand-alone equivalent of a town.

Washington Township is surrounded by Oklahoma Boro and Allegheny Township to the north, Upper Burrell Township to the west, Bell Township to the east, Murrysville and Salem Township to the south. Beaver Run Reservoir runs along the entire eastern boundary. Township offices are at 724.727.3515

To confuse the issue there is another completely different place called Pen Argyl, also in PA.
