Yes. All you have to do is check out those who are in a institution, not by choice. Check out some of the homeless (i did not say all). The most sane people are the ones who often ask "am I crazy?'.
Sometimes crazy needs to be defined. A good example is the "battered wife". Most people think that she is crazy for staying. But the truth is often crazier. She stays because of his threats, the kids, or quite plainly there is no escape. The verbal abuse is so insidious that she is made to think it is all her fault. There is only her word against his. No proof because he puts her on a pedestal to the outside world. No proof because his buddies don't want to be involve, a man's business is his own. No proof because she has been cut of from the outside. Her own actions on the outside looks crazy. No proof because there are sometimes no marks to show!
Yeah, crazy needs to be defined.

But of course, its all dependent on who you talk to when this comes out. Because to a crazy, normal people are the crazy ones and to normal people anyone not like them are crazy. Besides, who would want to be "normal" in this messed up world that we are living in? Not me!!!!!!!!!!!

Absolutely, it is entirely possible if you interprete the word crazy to mean mentally ill. People diagnosed with serious mental disorders, like schizophrenia, can go through phases when they lose touch with reality, and their abilities to think and perceive are severely impaired. This is often termed as psychosis.
As for in-laws, mine have been driving me nuts for the last twelve years. I'm eagerly waiting for the men in white coats to come take me away!

Most people who are really crazy do not know it! LOL! This would include many of my kin. It seems the crazier they are, the less they are aware of it. I guess they are in their own world!

I think most people that are clinically insane have no idea that they are. I think they may know they are different but probably have no idea they are "crazy".
