depends on how warm or cool it will be where you wear it . if for a job,alway go with long sleeves. if the gym,which ever is more comfortable.

Some studios are freezing, some (like mine) are really warm. It depends on the temperature outside too. I would suggest tank or short sleeve and maybe bring a light sweatshirt to wear over it if you need too. If you plan on buying a spaghetti strap or halter leotard make sure you ask your instructor if she allows it first , since they show a lot of skin and aren't always considered appropriate. If you find your studio to be really cold especially since its getting colder outside in a lot of places, and dancing and stretching doesn't warm you up, get a long sleeve. Leg warmers come in handy too.

it really depends on your prefrance. I prefer short sleeve but thats just me. Many times if you wear long sleeve you will get way too hot.
