St. James Church, Louth, Lincolnshire.

The parish church has the tallest spire (295 feet) of any medieval parish church in the country. It is a magnificent fifteenth century building that is featured in Sir Simon Jenkin's book, England's 1000 Best Churches.

I don't know if it makes it the tallest, but the magnificent St.Mary Redcliffe, in Bristol, is a parish church (it regularly gets confused with Bristol Cathedral by tourists) but is 292 ft (90 m) tall and is the highest building in the city.
