I had my tubes tied in 1982, at the time the Dr. clamped, tied and cauterized my tubes. Yet he pointed out to me that with the method he had used it was a 75% likelyhood of reversal. I would say that there is a good chance of reversal. The only concern I might have is whether or not you could concieve a healthy child.Downes syndrome children are common with later life pregnancy

Go see your gynecologist. I'm not a doctor, I don't play one on T.V., and I didn't sleep at a Holiday Inn Express last night. I can tell you that scar tissue does accumulate on any part of the body that has been surgically altered, especially over a number of years, and the older we get, the harder it is to "reverse" such things. This also lends credence to the belief that we really should leave what nature gave us alone. Take this as a lesson. Sometimes we put too much faith and trust into medical science's quick fixes!

Depends on how the procedure was done. There are some specialist that do micro surgery and have a 70-80% success rate in reattaching the tubes.

That really depends on the woman. After that much time, it's possible that there is scar tissue and they may be unable to do it. If you are considering this, visit your doctor for a complete checkup and see what he/she says.
