I read a story about two people who saw what they thought was another dimension through a square "opening" that appeared in a room in their house. It appeared out of nowhere and these two people could see others through this opening, looking back at them. The square remained open for several hours. There was no sound and the images would fade in and out at times, but were very clear for the majority of the time the opening was there.
Eventually, the square began to shrink and seemed to pull away from the room and once it was gone, it never returned. It was a spontaneous occurrence, and complete happenstance as the two people involved were not doing any type of experiment or investigation. The square just suddenly appeared and then was gone.
I read this account on the Fortean Times website and it got me to wondering if anyone else has ever experienced anything similar.

Well, it IS possible. Think about us, the 3D creatures, and suppose there is a 2D creature in some planar dimension. To make the discussion easier, let us consider an Oxford dictionary. A 2D creature lives in a page. If a 3D creature (a book worm) passes through the pages, the 2D creature will only see a 2D version of the worm. (a circle) The circle will grow smaller or large as the worm passes, or can even disappear. So if that square phenomenon was not an illusion, it can be explained with the concept of 4D

Yes, when I was sleeping I woke up for a pleasant dream. I felt like something was sucking the energy out of me. When I open my eyes I saw a see through figure shape as a man and the only thing that made it go away was a prayer. This has happen to me 4 times, 3 times with man shape figure and the other of a little girl.

I think those two people were on 'shroom. They were looking through a mirror and went "whoa, man! I can see two people staring at us through this weird window!" And because they were hallucinating, they thought the "opening" was shrinking.
