I've got news for you sweetie- those girls are all going to grow up with really bad skin and will have to depend on that makeup for the rest of their lives. At 13, you shouldn't feel so pressured to wear makeup. Natural beauty on a day to day basis is definately the way to go. And if you do have some zits like you say, chances are that you will make them about a thousand times worse by caking them with makeup. How do I know this? Well I know lots of girls that I grew up with (makeup wearing started at 15 for us) that wore makeup all the time. They caked on the foundation, mascara & eyeliner and achieved nothing but a really cheap, tacky and not to mention overdone look for high school. It was cool at the time- but I was never much of a makeup person and I'm thanking my stars now, because these same girls are all single (guys dont really like the made up look as they get older), they're all really insecure (they think they're only beautiful when they wear makeup) and have really bad skin (their pores and skin got clogged with all that dirt, chemicals & makeup), which cause them to have pimples on top of pimples. So go for the natural look. However, if you still wanna wear makeup to fit in with the crowd for school, then here's some tips that I got from modelling and some of my friends in the industry.
1. keep your skin fresh, clean & healthy- drink heaps of water, because no matter how much makeup you wear, if your skin is bad it'll still show.
2. Eyes: If you want to do up your eyes then invest in a really good eyeliner. Because you have gorgeous blue eyes (I'm so jealous), pale complexion and long black eyelashes, you can get away with a black or even a dark brown. Best way to go is an eye pencil- try Maybelline or Loreal. Don't wear eyeliner on the bottom of your eyes for the daytime, otherwise you'll end up looking like a racoon. Draw a very thin line across the top of your eyelid (really near your eyelashes). That will enhance your eye shape and your colour. Also invest in a really good black mascara (once again maybelline has an award-winning mascara). This will enhance your eyelashes. Long eyelashes are beautiful- I have the same & makeup people always tell me how lucky I am because I don't need to wear extensions. And if you really really want to wear some eyeshadow, then also with Maybelline theyve got these great lil makeup palettes with different colour. I wouldn't advise bright colours for school but if you wear a light champagne or dusty pink colour it'll look great.
2. Lips: For lips I say lipgloss all the way. Contrary to popular belief, if you ask any model, they will say they swear by lip gloss not lipstick. Buy a really fun colour glossy lipgloss and one clear. Because your fair you can get away with a light pink. I think thats the most beautiful colour for young girls. Also look at Maybelline or even Revlon for that lip gloss. But definately buy yourself a clear one.
3. Face all over. Don't wear foundation. You have young and beautiful skin so don't cover it up. As for zits, try dabbing a tiny amount of toothpaste on it before you go to bed. And definately dont touch it or do anything to it. You will get more zits if you cover it up with makeup. Best thing for the face is a tinted moisturiser, which is available at the Body Shop. Its 100% good natural & good for your skin (has Vitamin E). It will also tint your skin slightly so that it gives you a little coverage (it'll look like your wearing foundation with great coverage & people will definately be jealous!).
Hope all that helps. If you need any other advice let me know.

You're too young to be wearing makeup.. but the good news is that teen-driven cosmetics are becoming extremely popular in today's cosmetic market, and there are so many great ways to compromise with.
The first thing I would suggest is the world of oh-so-fabulously harmless lip-gloss – also known as lip-glazes, shimmers, sheens, etc.

If that's not enough, Try wearing a little Mascara...

Want to get rid of zits?

Steps

1. Run the water until it is fairly warm. It shouldn't feel hot and lukewarm is a little too cool.
2. Use a washcloth and wet it with the warm water. If you don't have access to a washcloth, wash your hands very well with soap and water, and then make sure the soap is completely off.
3. Use a face scrub to wash your entire face, and not only get rid of the zit present, but also prevent new ones from forming.
4. Wash your face for about 30 seconds.
5. Completely wipe off the scurb from your face.

Tips

* This should be done in the morning and evening of both days.
* Water-based face scrubs are recomended.
* Clearisil Ultra is advertised as removing a zit in three days. If you follow these steps using this face cream, it should really speed up the process.
* is a gel you put on a zit and leave on it. It works all day to help erase the acne.

Warnings

* Do not try to pop the zit. You could scar your face permenatly. And while you may think the zit looks bad now, it won't last the rest of your life like a scar will.
* Popping or squeezing may also cause infection.
* Do not wash your face more than twice a day, as you may aggravate your skin and worsen the conditon.

Things You'll Need

* Warm water
* A Face Scrub
* Washroom

It's not *a lot* of makeup, but in my opinion, it is way too much for a 13 year old. Eyeliner and mascara I think are fine, but nothing else. Applying foundation day after day will pull and wrinkle your skin, and you definitely don't want that before you're 20. Foundation is actually really bad for your skin, and will increase your acne threat. A great acne kit that I've used for less than 6 months is the AcneFree severe acne kit, bought at Walmart, and I barely ever get pimples anymore and my scars have faded. To exfoliate your skin and get rid of dead skin cells, mix some sugar, extra virgin olive, oil, and honey (2 tbsp each) and use it against your face twice/thrice a week.

I'm 15 and I don't wear makeup almost all the time. I think make up should be used for special occasions like a winter formal. When you wear make up it gives everyone a diffrent view of you. If you did want to cover the zits, i would suggest a oil free base. I wear base sometimes to hide the redness of my zits.

sweetie, you sounds gorgeous girl, I don't think you need makeup. But I know how you feel if you're the only one without it among your friends. My advise as make up artist is, just brush your eyebrow (important, it's frame of your face!) little bit of coloured lip cream or gloss and carry oil blotting paper!!. and if you have special day, put bit of mascara and nail polish. but ask your mama for help. NEVER share mascara, lipstick/gloss with anybody. you will get germ/sickness/wart from your friend and whomever borrowed the item in past!! That's what i tell my niece of 13. you have best skin even though you got zits. trust me girls wear makeup earlier have to keep wear it longer because skin age quicker! you got all your life to wear makeup. I want you to win over peer pressure and see true beauty in you. good luck!

first off, you don't need to apply make up on broke out skin. try to treat your skin first.
1. get a exfoliant/scrub. this will help slaugh off those dead skin cells on your face. do this like once a week. don't do this too often because then you'll remove new skin cells as well.
* they also have cleansers for zits and to prevent zits, if it has salicylic acid in it to stop, prevent and treat
2. get a daily cleanser. i used the olay cleanser cloths or the disks because they're ready to go... if you use these then you don't need to get the exfoliant scrub, it has everything in one. all you do is clean and wash your face off!

3. get a toner with very little alcohol content. this will get rid of the dirt.. and you'll use a cotton ball or cosmetic puff..

4. then moisturize your skin.... use a light moisturizer on your skin so it won't dry out..
5.WATER WATER WATER!! this will also help your skin clear up too honey. but in the meantime, just use some mascara in black to bring out the lashes, some eye shadow to make your eyes pop, and wash your face of this nightly....and lip gloss!! get some coral or tangerine colored lip gloss to give your lips some color, moisture, and a lil bit of sex appeal. don't worry bout the rest of those girls, you have pleanty of time to cake your face up with makeup. looking natural is key. tan your skin a lil bit and get a different hair do with some highlights to bring out your inner beauty. but when you're skin is cleared up enough, use enough that it doesn't look like you're wearing a glob of make up. good luck honey, and remember you're beautiful no matte rhow much makeup you have on or not.

If you have zits put some concealer on them and maybe wear a light powder makeup on top. At yor age I wouldnt wear much of anything else except maybe some mascara to highlight your eyes.

Girls who wear lots of makeup just look sleazy, though they think it makes them look older. However, how many 25 yr olds do you see painted like that??? It ends up making them inexperienced with their cosmetics, and that's all!
Makeup is supposed to enhance your features, not cover them up. A light oil-free foundation, some natural-tone eyeshadow, brown-black mascara (for you, none needed), and a cheerful color of lipgloss/ lipstick is plenty! You want to look youthful and carefree, not like an opera star setting up for her big death scene...
The zits have a mid of their own. Nomatter what you do to your skin, they keep peeking thru. Keep your face clean, using exfoliating scrubbing pads and a mild cleanser (baby bath gel is awesome and cheap!), and avoid eating greasy food (the grease sticks to your skin and causes breakouts).

At 13 you shouldn't wear makeup to clog your pores. Imagine how your skin will look by the time you are 30. You should consider wearing lip gloss only.

none....take care of those zits so you could have prefect skin bc if u try and cover them up then ull only make it worse..then maybe u should wear a little blush and curl your eyelashes if theyre not curled naturally.

whatever you do dont wear alot of makeup like those other girls go for the natural look it looks way nicer and you wont look orange.......
