for those women that have their periods during pregnancy how did you know you wre pregnant and how soon did you know?

Women cannot have there periods during pregnancy. The pregnancy hormone is what blocks ovulation and your period each month. A period is nothing more than shedding of the uterine wall, which is where ur baby would lay if u were pregnant, so how can your uterus be shed while there is a baby inside? Now on another not women CAN have slight bleeding throughout there pregnancy that they might confuse with there period. The blood will be nothing like a period though, it will most likely be spotting and light in color and no pain associated. But normal period bleeding is uncommon during pregnancy unless there is a major problem.

If someone is having there period while pregnant the period should not be regular. She should be spotting but not heavy bleeding. However, I have heard of women having it the regular way for a few month's and still be pregnant.

I personally would have a panic attack if I was pregnant and had my period at the same time because I would assume that I am miscarrying. I have 3 children and pregnant now with my 4th and I never had my period with none of my children.. But everyone is different..

I knew i was pregnant first then I started bleeding for the whole time of three months. I had had a D&C previously and was hemoraging from left over tissue and streaching. It sucked but I am now 6 months and it has stopped and not returned. It sucked though.

i did not know until 4 months as i had no symptoms apart from sickness which i thought was due to smoking but i decided to take a test and it was positive

YES YOU CAN HAVE YOUR PERIOD WHILE PRGNANT SOMETIMES FOR THE INTIRE PREGNACY, MY SISTER DID AND SHE ONLY KNEW AT ABOUT 4 MONTHS SHE WAS SO SICK AND HAD A TEST.
