Where I live it starts at dusk ar about 6:30 and ends at about 8:30. When I was growing up it started when the first kid came to the door. My kids started when the streetlights came on. There isn't really a set time to start trick or treating, trust your own judgment and have a safe and fun Halloween. Don't forget to check your candy and take along flashlights. Happy Halloween.
