A student mixes a saturated solution of sugar in water on a Friday. On Monday morning, the open comtainer has particles of sugar on the bottom. Suggest several reasons to explain why this happened.

The sugar did not dissolve, next time mix alittle hot water with it, desolves faster.

when the student dissolved the sugar the temperature was higher and the student dissolved the sugar to its limit. During night the temperature dropped, causing the precipitation. Some of the water evaporated, diminishing the amount of available liquid water, since sugar does not evaporate at room temperature, its concentration got higher and crossed its limit of solubility. Someone added more sugar and he/she did not find out, causing a crystallization.
