She said this about George Herbert Walker Bush.
"He can't help it. He was born with a silver foot in his mouth."
In other words, they are born with money and power in their blood, but no brains.

Well, in this dismal world, an individual does not have to be intelligent or an intellectual for that matter to become leader. Politics only involves connections, money, greed, and power over a nation. Bush went to Yale and received C's but yet he's our president!

Well, "so many people are so stupid" because they don't think for themselves and merely spout out things that pretty people tell them.
And "stupid people become world leaders", come on! If you believe that then you're stupider than you think they are.

because the experts on world politics who really know what should happen can't always tell people what they want to hear which is ultimately how one gets elected these days. We are electing people who are professional election winners, not necesarily problem solvers.
