listening skills - and a capacity to care about people other than themselves. I think if people started attending to others the way they would like to be received/treated, then the world could resolve so many problems on a personal level, before they turn into big hairy deals.

Tact. Sincerity. Friendliness. Open Mindedness. Creativity. Patience. I could go on. It's not that people don't have these skills, it's that they don't use them often enough.
The benefit would be that the world would be a nicer place.

Most people don't know that they don't have to be right. By learning to practice the idea that they don't need to be right, their interpersonal relationships are improved dramatically. The need to be right is tied to the need to feed the ego, and when the ego receives its validation from other resources, life is improved.

The ability to come up with a good question. This way they would not waste the time of others......oh, and flying, I change my answer to flying!!!!!!!!
