You brang back good childhood memories for me! I remember watching Woody Wood Pecker being up to no good and Chilly Willy in the morning before going to school . My best episode of Woody Wood Pecker is when he was tricked into thinking he was in a Hotel and when he realized his bed was really a pie to be baked, he jumped up and said "Egad, the pie is I"! I can still remember the Chili Willi theme song when it is said "poor me, I shiver and quake, I am Chilly Willy all the time". I know I could be such a kid at heart! lol!

Woody was good. Chilly, I think, was done by comic writers in training. The laugh from Woody was his trademark. Chilly was just a little dumpy thing that made some motions that seemed to be funny at the time, and in context. If I had to vote for one this upcoming election, it would be Woody. He may not get the job done right all the time, but he has more personality than the penguin. (And ain't that how we always vote!)

I remember Woody and Chilly, both being chased endlessly by their enemies (poor little guys). But here's a test of your tv knowledge - do you remember such classics as Robotech, the original Voltron, The Mysterious Cities of Gold, Bravestar, and others? For those who want a blast from the past, there is a place for us - 80's Cartoons

Sure do. They always played in the morning on a UHF station called KBMA, Channel 41; it was an independent station. I liked Chilly Willy better than WWP--I identified with his constant quest to get warm!

I LOVED Woody Wood Pecker. What happened to him? He had that distinct laugh.

Yes, but I prefer Underdog and Mighty Mouse. I have a Underdog and Polly Purebred roleplay fetish. Also, Mighty Mouse and Pearl Pureheart. haha
