Because americans think they can go any where plant the Scar Strangled Banger and people will do as they please. The reason for going to iraq was a big freakin' fraud. There never any weapons of mass destruction the americans went to Iraq because they needed to secure the oil fields for their own needs. Now the US is barking up at Iran, but the world has drawn a circle around Iran and if the americans decide to go to war the under the "Axis of Evil" premiss there will be some serious backlash and it could auger the third World War.

Because Americans think that their culture is the best (which as an American I feel that way too) but when they go to other countries most Americans try to force their way of life and their culture onto other people and most of the time that is seen as rude by other people of different cultures - because Americans do not seem to be interested in other cultures - but more interested in over coming other cultures with American culture.

Americans should ask themselves "How would you feel if someone came here from another country and tried to force their culture on us because they thought our culture was backward and they had a more advanced culture?" It's rude.

I dont know but I know at leasst 2 frenchpeople for sure dont like us, I was in france and two french men started saying some naughty things about my group, I was on my high school trip, it seems like every high school now either goes to franch italy or spain and anyway they were saying mean things and well I'm going to college majoring in french so i understood everything they were saying and went up to them and said in french "i know what your saying, my group knows what you are saying stop being sterotypical, well enjoy your day bye! so that was my story I just had the sudden urge to tell it but I think its because what they see on TV and reality shows a very small percentage of what americans are like

Probably because alot of us are so spoiled...we have so much and are so selfish....we have a huge percentage of the wealth and utilize a huge percentage of the natural resources of the earth....and we do not share with or care about others all that much.

Americans are notorious for being inconsiderate of others when we travel also...we complain and grumble when things in foreign countries don't meet up to our usual standards. When these same standards are unreasonable in a foreign setting, because the economies are not the same and the people are not used to the same customs and conditions.

Because of monotony. The main source of media (i.e. TV and news) around the world is america. People get bored of their culture and prejudge everything about them. why? Because they can't turn their head without seeing another one trying to sell 'em toothpaste :P
