I was told as someone else posted by birth if healthy, but they tell you take MANY extra precautions, like bringing the babies carseat so you can set them in it when needed supposing you have a layover, and when you go to get on the plane get a special tag to have it stowed under right then, that way as soon as you get off it's waiting for you right as you walk off the plane, try to avoid being around large groups of people as much as possible. I flew with my son when he was only 3 weeks old, he did amazing even with turbulence. But definitely take EVERYTHING into consideration and prepare for all of it, even if it's very unlikely, we were held over in an airport for 14 hours.. delayed flight and if baby is formula fed that could become a problem.. along with other things like diapers and what not, so Good Luck! & Be Careful! & CONGRATULATIONS!!!!

all I can tell you is that in the latino tradition a baby
is not taken out for 60 days to protect the baby's
immune system.

good luck and I hope you reunite soon.

She needs to ask the baby's doctor

I think it's recommended min 3 months, however during flu season, I don't think it's recommended at all
