Do Los Angeles hummingbirds migrate farther south for the winter?

There are several species of hummingbird found in southern California. Some, such as Anna's hummingbird, are found there year around. Other species (Allen's hummingbird is one) usually winter in Mexico. Check with your local Audubon Society for more information - they will be able to show you lists of which birds are found in what months.

they just go south of the highway, crack a few beers and call it a migration
