I want to know if they exist. My friend says they do and they play practical jokes on people but take care of the animals of the forest.

Gnomes aren't the group of fey who play tricks on people, at least I don't find them to be. They do take care of animals and the earth. They are considered earth elementals. Gnomes are a race no longer seen by most humans. If you were to find them it would be in nature and not polluted.

They do exist. You can find a gnome by going to the end of the rainbow, ignoring the little green guy and his pot of gold and hanging a left. Or, you can go to walmart and get a garden variety gnome in plastic or ceramic.

gnomes are fairies, or Fey. they do exist. finding one would likely be impossible. you have to gain their trust first and then they MIGHT allow you to see them.
