My brother is getting married in a few months him and his girl are perfect for eachother both 22.. although im not much of a girly girl and she loves dancing and says stuff like yummy.. and gossips about whos dating who it drives me to a mental break down.. i can't stand girls like her... She makes me so angry does anyone else have this problem what do you do? never see them again?

Ive only ever had brothers so this whole girls things..isnt me.. She found out i went on a date with this guy and told me how we were so perfect for eachother and we were going to be so cute together than goes and tells my brother what a jerk he is and now my brother hates him and wont let me see him..she just does crap like that..

You don't have to like every quality about her. I'm sure she does have fine traits. One of my best friends I can't stand at times because of her chatter, but we still love each other. Same with my in-laws. I love them, but I don't agree with them all the time and I just fluff it off a bit and keep things civil. You say your brother and her are perfect. Well let them be then. You don't HAVE to go out dancing with her. If she's over for dinner just keep thinking "only a few more hours".

I think its your problem its that something she has that you don't have like her ways of styles or way she do things that you do but do better. The best thing to do is when you are in her present just go your way and let her be or when you do things do it better and be proud no matter what pat your self on the back and keep on moving like you don't even see or hear her or just be polite and smile and her face and kill her with kindness

You may not be a girly girl, but you ARE a girl. You aren't the one marrying her. I understand about gossiping, but you shouldn't generalize people just because they are sillier then you. She may feel like you are no fun either. Either way, stay away from her, or just meet her in the middle.

is sacrificing your relationship with your brother worth not being annoyed? if she's 22, she still has a whole lot of growing up to do. and if she's "perfect" for him, like you say, isn't that the most important thing? don't put strain on his relationship by making him choose between his wife and his sister. just tough it out and hope she grows out of it.

Just a suggestion it sounds as she bogarts the conversation.with things that dont set well with you.the next time youre with her.or know shes going ot be coming by.take lead on the conversation.and get her views on things that are of interest to you.i mean you cant very well ignore her,shes going to be paret of yor family.and im sure your brother would appreciate seeing the two of you getting along.

Girl i feel your pain. I am sorry when your around her this is what you have to put up with. My sil drives me nuts i just keep my distant to keep my sanity. I use that for my mil too they are both fake.
