Do you have a card game thats off the beaten path?

Question

A game that makes people say "Whats that?" Like Russian Rummy or Hand and Foot? Is it challenging? Whats it called and how do you play? I can provide instructions to the two I mentioned if you want them. Please stick with games that require standard poker cards.

Off the beaten path means you can't play it on yahoo games, and it likely doesn't have a rule book. Its the kind of game that a family member or friend will teach you.

a game called california jack . Canasta - it is cut throat and fast paced and a blast. My In-laws taught it to me and there are many variations. I like Philly style best you play as a foursome and use 4 decks of standard cards. i think its called yuka . .and when i find out the actual rules i'll answer properly . i've played it with my friends but now i can't remember the rules . .and its really good too .
