Stay well hydrated (drink lots of water) and try not to over tax your voice. Simple warm ups like the scales and "Sing Sweet Nightingale" will keep your voice toned. Most professionals will advise against cough drops and lemon in hot water because it will over extend the vocal cords and leave you open to strain. Remember to sing from your diaphragm and not your throat to carry across the stage. Break a leg!

That's really soon to be preparing now. Make sure you sing as often as comfortable, but do NOT overdo it. If you start to feel a little sore, stop. For live performances, especially theater, it's better to be LOUD than anything else, so work on that. Smile.

I wouldn't bother with the cough drops.
