The daughter who should be looking after her had an argument with her cos the daughter told the Granny she was going on holiday again for the fourth time this year.
Granny got fed up with no grandchildren visiting her and her daughter leaving her to look after herself, so she decided to turn on the gas cooker and go to sleep.
Should she be put in a home and should she be asking herself why nobody visits her? She is 88.

Ok, basically she is a bitter twisted old witch who has split the family for years. And when people in the family heard about this feable attempt they burst out laughin.

visit her make her see how good life is show her how to use a computer or something tell her how to have fun in the 21 century show her cool music

Why isn't the grandchildren visiting her. Surely they could give her a call or stop by for 5 minutes. They don't have to talk long or stay long. The nursing home will depress her so much more than she is now. I just hate to see the elderly go to a nursing home if they are able to stay at home. Good luck. When you see your granny, please tell her that some old woman sends a "hello" to her. ha ha

Your grandma does not need to be put in a home because she is depressed. Go get her and take her shopping once in awhile and just have breakfast with her or something. Call her on the phone and ask her how her day is going. Take her for car rides and to the movies or something.
Suicide is more prevalent amongst the elderly than people know. If you put her in a nursing home, she is really going to be on a downer.
Dont dump your grandma because you dont have time for her. She just needs someone to pay attention.
I am sorry, but "twisted" at 88 years old? You are probably mooching off of her social security and using her for everything she has before she dies. Your typical. A user and very ungrateful. Go figure, she probably would be treated better in a nursing home. You are pathetic. and I dont know your grandma or you.

You call Granny twisted? Sounds to me like the rest of the family are the twisted ones. That is so sad. Poor Granny. Just cause she would like to have someone come visit her on the holidays. You should all be ashamed. Of course she is lonely. She is old and you all should show her some respect and some love.
