I agree with one of the people who said, "Because they hate him," but I don't think that's the case. The only reason why they won't let the rabbit have cereal because they have to keep it going. If they give the rabbit have some cereal OR yogurt, that will be the end of it. He will be satisfied and then he will no longer need to be on the commercials. Then all the little kids will wonder, "Where's the trix rabbit?" and they'll all cry and want him back. Okay, maybe they won't cry, but you get my point. They have to keep the cereal away from him to keep the commercials going. But, as stupid as that is, if I were the trix rabbit, I would want the cereal. Poor rabbit.......why won't they just let him have some cereal???? Now I know, it's because rabbits can't have cereal, it's for kids....

I never understood why, except the catch phrase is "Silly rabbit Trix are for kids" might have something to do with it. When I was little they would have special elections, and the kids could vote to see if he could have a box. He always consumed the entire box at one sitting, maybe that's why they never give him any. No self control.
