Excedrin contains aspirin, which is a no-no when pregnant. Tylenol is safe. I'd ask the doctor for other recommendations.

Only take Tylenol as an over the counter pain reliever. Aspirin and Ibuprofen products cause the blood to thin and increase your risk for miscarriage and bleeding during pregnancy. Caffeine is generally safe in small doses (200-300mg/day). If Tylenol doesn't work then talk to your OB/GYN and get a recommendation from him/her.

No it is not okay, the best thing to take is tylenol, if that dosent help go to your doctor, when you are pregnant any medication, food or liquid passes to your baby, wven after you give birth if you breast feed you still need to be careful about what you eat or injest.
