Yes...many things have to be in place for an egg to be fertilized and then implanted. If you are using an over the counter Ovulation predictor kit, which tries to catch an increase in your lutenizing hormone which means that in in the next 24 hours or so you should ovulate. Remeber an egg only lives 24 hours and sperm lives up till 72 hours...when you learn just how fragile developing life is and everything that needs to be in place to be pregnant..its a wonder that any of us get created!!! If your ovulating there is a possibilty of getting pregnant however, some women do not get pregnant.
