Honestly...Communication is the key to everything. Just talk about everything from insecurities to sex. If you two can talk about anything, then you will be great.

Ive been in a healthy and successful relationship for a little over threee years.and from the beginning he asked just about the same question as you.my response was this.!.There has to be honesty,patience,understanding.security.2.To be secure enough not to be burning up his cell when hes out with the guys.but also make him aware that youre not far away when he needs you.to have fun with one another being spotaneous is a wonderful thing.to listen ,and sahre ones feelings good bad or indifferent.quality is a must.just be open and real and all else should come into place.

the key to any relationship is trust, if you do not have trust, you do not have any thing, the second one would be respect, again if there is no respect, I think if you both have trust and respect than you have the foundation for any relationship

the key to any relationship has to start with a firm foundation. in my relationship with my husband our foundation is our relationship with God. also you have to be able to trust each other to expose your heart to each other. any type of dishonesty puts you at a disadvantage.

be faithful
do little things "just because" not because you screwed up (flowers ext...)
ask how there day was before you tell about yours
smile and always mean what you say and say what you mean
