You have to admire a man who started from scratch and built an empire worth a gazillion dollars -- then turns around and gives huge amounts of cash to various charities and worthwhile causes. I've never had the opportunity to meet Bill and Melinda Gates, but I think they must be pretty basic, honest and down-right nice people.
It's certainly a refreshing change compared to some of the Hollywood 'stars' who get a ton of money and proceed to go bonkers.

I like him and dislike him. I like him because of his role in creating technology in which the way it is. Of course that's not to say he did it all on his own. There were other important people that helped to get technology as it is today.
I dislike him because his company makes operating systems that are constantly being picked on by hackers. But in saying that I don't think that's his fault. Technology just hasn't yet figured out a way to block all the hacker's today.
Also for the person above me, Bill Gates did not create the Internet. It was Al Gore lol nah just playing. The Internet in which we know it is today was helped formed by a gentleman by the name of Tim Berners-Lee. But of course he had help too. For more click on the link.

Bill Gates is a . verry smart person he know what he was doing when created the windows os. millions Around the world really should take a look in to there windows os. to see what it really has in there

Those from whom he "may" have copied their software and ideas, those who try to launch new operating systems etc. may not like him, but the common computer user can write on the web mainly because his company has revolutionized the way we communicate.

Don't know him, so couldn't say what I think of his personality. But he is rich enough to end poverty and starvation worldwide, but the greedy git keeps all that money to himself to build gold plated palaces to live in. So on that basis he is pure EVIL.
