Well, thats a good question. I thought he was hurt also but it ended up being a contract dispute. Nobody wanted to pay him what he thought he was worth. The Nuggets took a look at him but quickly showed him the door. He's still good for 15 points but he's also good to destroy your locker room with his bad attitude. I rather not gamble on a guy like him.

yep he played for the timber wolves, warriors and knicks, he was a 4 time allstar his career average is 18 points a game, he is most known for joking his coach in a practice, once in a finals game he scored 35 for the knicks, he holds the record for most nba 3 pointers made without a miss which is 9, his college is alabama, Sprewell was named to the All-NBA First Team at the end of his second season, and to the All-NBA Defensive second team that same year, he retired in 2005 after saying he quote "had to feed his family" since playing he has been investagated for chocking a mistress on his boat, he has been sued by a mistress according to her he agreed to pay for her 4 children, the last reported incident was in 2009 his mansion went into foreclosure, i compare to him on the court to monta ellis he is a pure scorer he can drive to the rim, dunk and shoot the 3, off the court that's a different story i don't think anyone in todays nba is in quite as much trouble that sprewell has gotten into, how good was he? if he kept playing he had the potentioal to be a hall of famer but since he didn't play for a long period of time he is kind of a second tier player like allen iverson, tracy mcgrady, vince carter guys that are good players but are not the jordans, magics or birds
