Does anyone know when "Wicked: the Musical" is gonna be on dvd... like the actual date... all i've heard is that it's coming out in 2007 but i'm not sure... so does anyone know???

well i think that it should come out on DVD in 2007, but if anyone wanted to make a movie version, would you want it to come out soon and have it be the dumbest thing you've ever seen? or would you wait a couple years, maybe like 10, so that you could see a kick *** movie? whoever is doing a movie or wants to make a movie of wicked, they need to get a lot of the details straight. people who do musical movies tend to add things so it will take a long time. as far as the stage performance, that shouldn't take long to come out, unless they go on tour again. and if that happens. I'll just sneak a cam-corder in the theatre and record it. just kidding. or am i?

Okay. Wicked isn't coming out on DVD any time soon - as a musical or a movie. It is doing way too well at the Gershwin - which is a good thing. So get the cd, download it on to your mp3, see the show or come to Wicked day tomorrow.

The stage version... I doubt it will come out for a long long long time.... if ever.
The Movie version... NBC/Universal owns the rights so you WILL know when they want to make it into a film.
Rent took 10 years.
Chicago even longer.
