Really, I'm not being mean. I just wonder why.

And yes, I was born with hair, and so was everyone else in my family.

Never witness any live births. I just see a lot of caucasion babies with no hair. Don't get all angry about it! I didn't say all of them!

I am not sure, but I dont think that is true. I think your question is based more sub-consciencely on what you see on TV and pop culture. All babies born on TV and baby dolls have no hair.
I was born with a full head of hair, while my sister was born with none. It is a good question. Its kind of like why black people's hair does not seem to grow as fast as white peoples. I think it is just the way evelution happend.

You are wrong. I have three caucasian babies who were all born with a full head of hair. Maybe you meant to ask why do SOME caucasian babies have no hair. I've seen a few bald babies who later had blonde hair. Maybe it has something to do with blond. I'm not sure though.

No only did mine not have hair at birth, she didn't get any until she was almost three. I remember once when she was about two, we were at a restaurant and the people at the next table thought she was on chemotherapy, and were so sympathetic, then I realized the restaurant was next door to children's hospital. I had to tell them she was just bald baby, not chemobaby.
I was the same way, according to my mom. Just something in the genes, I guess.

Different kinds of genes. Just like most black babies are born with a head full of hair.

Maybe you haven't seen many caucasion babies. All my kids were born with hair. My first with fine blond hair, my second with thick long, like several inches tall, hair that stood up like a golden mohawk, my third with black hair, and my fourth with thick red hair.

Most of them? This is a pretty broad statement.
I have two children, 22 years apart, with two different fathers. Both were born with thick, luxurious hair. My son's fell out around 3 months, then grew back fast. My daughter never lost hers, its texture just changed.

my entire family was born with full heads of hair... except me. i was bald until i was 2.
probably has something to do with evolutionary differences and the need for protection from the elements. thats my best guess anyway.

Sometimes their hair is very light in color so that it isn't visiable. But sometimes they are just bald. I don't know why, they always look like little baby Elmer Fuds.
