There are lots of on-line tests, or go to a psychologist and ask. The best test you can get is the WAIs (Weschler Adult Intelligence Scale)

Intelligence is what intelligence tests measure!! Only Educational Psychologists are qualified to carry out IQ tests. Because we are a literate and numerate society we value these above other skills and use these as a measure of intelligence. If you lived in the amazon intelligence would probably be measured by how well you could make and throw a spear!

You could do an online test, but my suggestion is: read lots of questions/answers on yahoo and if you disagree with most people, you have a higher than average IQ!!!

If you want to do it "officially", apply to Mensa. They'll send you a list of places near to you where you can take a proper IQ test.
